MORE of This in 2025!

by Rick Allen on March 25, 2025

Because of your giving to Light for the Lost, missionaries everywhere are being resourced to communicate the gospel of Jesus by all means necessary and in all languages.

They are sending some incredible reports to us, one of which I will share in a moment. As we review these missionary reports, we find ourselves saying, “Yes. We want MORE of this in 2025.”

So, that will be a recurring theme this year: More of This!

Easter is April 20. The empty tomb is perhaps the most powerful image in the Christian faith. Without an empty tomb, the cross is moot. Through our missionaries’ heroic efforts to tell others about Jesus, more and more people are discovering the significance and power of the empty tomb.

We’re pleading with God for, “More of this in 2025!” Will you join us in that missionary prayer?

Our previous report about 2024 giving to LFTL estimated that $9.85 million was invested in world evangelism by friends like you. We were overjoyed by this! However, after the final adjustments were made, it was revealed that more than $10.2 million was given to LFTL last year! 2024 was the first year LFTL broke the $10 million giving mark.

While we certainly celebrate this, we give all glory and honor Jesus--the Lord of the Harvest! And by faith, we are asking the Lord for more than $10.2 million to invest in our missionaries in 2025. In faith, we are asking him for at least $11 million!

To see this happen, we must do two things: 1) We must ask the Lord for MORE, and 2) We must do the work.

Matthew 7:7-11 and Ephesians 3:20-21 declare the Father will give us what we ask if we do so in faith and according to His will. So, let’s ask for the nations. Let’s ask for strongholds of false religion to break. Let’s ask for the salvation of those who seem farthest from God. Let’s ask for MORE! And then let’s get to work.

We are so grateful for your help to resource missionaries for world evangelism. Each year, thousands of LFTL partners make a faith promise to LFTL and endeavor to fulfill it, with God’s help, over a calendar year. If there is not a LFTL missions service or event near you this year, you can make an online faith promise to LFTL. (click)

The form only takes a minute to fill out and includes the giving goal you feel the Lord wants you to set by faith. (If you don’t know your Assemblies of God “district or network,” just leave that box blank.) Thank you for the privilege of your time today, and for joining us to ask God for More of This in 2025!
